Studio Upgrade

Just got my new PC couple of days ago and I’m more than happy with it! This is much more powerful system for audio work than I excpected! It’s fast, stable and thanks to 24″ widescreen I can see everything in full now(I used to have 17″ CRT monitor and I couldn’t even see the bottom of most of my VSTi’s). Also, my first taste of Win7 is that it seems Microsoft has got it right this time :) Kudos!

This new system gives a whole lotta more possibilites for my music projects and makes it much more easier to do things. I’m very happy! :)

Here’s the details:

  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7 950 3.06 GHz 8 MB LGA 1366
  • MOTHERBOARD: Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Intel X58
  • RAM: 12Gb Kingston DDR3
  • SCREEN: BENQ V2410 ECO, 24″ WIDE
  • OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

just out of curiosity, why do you have a second keyboard?  (Quote)

    • Alex,

I use those second keyboards (Casio) when I train with my band. I play (or at least I’m trying lol) keyboards in a band called “The Red House”. We play anything from jazz to funk to reggae to experimental. Those Casio’s have pretty decent onboard sounds for such live music.  (Quote)
